She went under a green bush

The shower to shun

Her white apron wrapped around her

He took her for a swan

他错当成小天鹅

But a hush and sigh

一声枪响一叹息

Was his own molly ban

那是他的小爱人

He quickly ran to her

惊慌失措忙上前

And found she was dead

可怜茉莉已合眼

And there on her bosom

怀抱爱人在胸前

Where he soaked' tears he shed

哀号伤痛不自言

He ran home to his father

他快回家找父亲

With his gun in his hand

A swan glided by
