Coral Bracelet

I read about a runaway

Just on a pint of milk today

And then I poured myself a glass

And drank

It made me think of Florida

Miles and miles of oranges

Vacationers and rent-a-cars

With their skin burnt dark and hard

Like coral bracelets

It all recalls bits of you

Everything's orange in hue

Like this bracelet just dropped into place

I thought about a stowaway

And then I ran myself a bath

And got in

It made me think of daffodils

The nurses in their uniforms

All their toenails painted orange

I heard about a holiday

Away o'up in Galloway

Where little lambs run wild

And princes

Wear coral bracelets
