Years turn to days of past

The hourglass is running fast

Life's no more than memories

Past the time away past the time away

So I sit here waiting

For the end to come

No one knows the answers

Nothing left to dream of

Scream to the wind

But none hear my call

Words lost to the breeze

Upon the ground they fall

Days are short

The nights are long

Sometimes the dark

The memories are distant

Sitting by a window
